In Room at the Top I draw on dream imagery to explore the archetype of the witch and its deep associations with feminine power. The work is rooted in a vivid dream of an unusually tall woman with dark hair, dressed in an old-fashioned gown, standing before a top-floor window. This surreal vision inspired a body of work set inside a forgotten building, where strange and unusual plants flourish. Room at the Top delves into themes of female energy, creativity, and power.
