Going Deeper

Going Deeper is inspired by dream imagery and explores a figure who moves fluidly between two realms—the subconscious world of water and the conscious world of land. She is a guide, able to navigate these shifting spaces with ease. As Gertrude Eberle said, “When we’re in the water, we’re not in this world.” These mixed media works—created with watercolour, ink, and collage on 300gsm cotton Arches paper—capture that sense of in-between states and quiet transformation.
